Yesterday when I was getting my tattoo, I decided that this flower is for my friend, Shari… I didn’t want to post about it until I was able to tell her in person, which I did today (even though she’s not responding right now, I know she heard me.) Shari loves flowers, and the meanings of the hibiscus include “gentle” (my hope for her right now, a gentle transition if that is indeed her choice) and it is also known as the Rose of Sharon (she loves roses and her given name is Sharon). It is a beautiful vibrant red because Shari is passionate about everything she takes on! She is a brilliant bright woman who shines light (& sparkly personality) to all around her… I think it’s the perfect flower to dedicate to her. ❤ (Taken with Instagram)
